About Shae

Shae Parsons is Miss Earth New Zealand 2025 — a tech consultant, environmental advocate, and proud Māori and Pasifika wāhine. She holds a Master’s in Computer & Information Science and works closely with the AI Forum, focusing on Māori data sovereignty and sustainable tech.

Her advocacy explores the environmental impact of AI and e-waste, blending her cultural roots with a future-forward lens. Shae uses her platform to make tech more accessible, especially for young women, and is passionate about showing that innovation and indigenous wisdom can work hand-in-hand for climate action.
