ABOUT TIO HOFHUIZEN
Tio Hofhuizen is a 22-year-old international model based in the Netherlands. Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and raised in the south of the Netherlands, Tio has always valued creativity and leadership.
In 2023, she stepped into leadership by founding Miss Teen Nederland, becoming the youngest national director in the country and guiding young women toward confidence and international success.
At the same time, Tio has always believed in leading by example. That belief led her to compete internationally, earning the title of Super Model Universe Netherlands 2023 and placing as 2nd Runner-Up.
Today, Tio is competing in Miss Eleganza 2026, on the road to Miss Globe, where she brings not only experience, but a message close to her heart.
Growing up with an addicted parent, and losing him in 2024, made her realize how important it is to speak up in time. She now uses her voice to raise awareness around addiction and illness, to help break cycles, and to ensure that no one feels unheard or unseen.
Her mission is to reduce the damage passed on to the next generation.
